Shoot lots, but as a through and through 1911 guy, I'll say, if that ends up being your preferance, nothing else compares to it. I try like hell to like plastic pistols, but just never can get over the hump so to speak. Something about a big chunk of steel in hand just feels...well, right.

If you get the opportunity shoot a Smith and Wesson M&P 9, or any other caliber for that matter. I have the nine and I think it is one of the most comfortable guns to hold.

My dad told me one thing, NEVER pass up the opportunity to shoot a gun, or use a piece of heavy machinery...you never know if the opportunity will present itself again!
